In every 2 tablet dose of Future Methodâs fiber, there is 1.68g of our Fiber Plus blend. We use a blend of acacia gum and psyllium husk fiber because you need less acacia gum fiber + psyllium husk to get the same effect as psyllium husk only.
Acacia fiber is derived from gum sap exuded by acacia trees. It works as a prebiotic to encourage good, healthy gut bacteria and improve the gut biome. Inavea⢠soaks up water in the gut like a sponge and makes for easier passings. We also chose Inavea⢠because of its study-based benefits, including: increased stool weight/water content in stool, promoting growth of healthy bifidobacterial in the intestinal tract, which supports gut health, and the fact that it may help support the feeling of fullness.
Both psyllium fiber and acacia fiber support gut health. Acacia fiber has a finer texture than psyllium, making it easier for sensitive stomachs to process. Psyllium fiber offers other benefits like regulating blood sugar levels. Thatâs why we use both in our daily psyllium-acacia fiber pills. While there are many similarities between psyllium fiber and acacia fiber, when considering supplements relying only on psyllium husk, most recommend 4-6 capsules vs. only 2 with acacia fiber.
